THE T CHANNEL LAUNCHES
INTERACTIVE CABLE NETWORK IN
SAN DIEGO-BAJA REGION

TELECOM BEACH, San Diego-Baja California. See the Light, Ride the Wave, Surf the Web... With a splash, The T Channel (the "T" standing for "technology), a new cable network offering interactive programming, launches regionally with a two-hour block of original programs on cable and the Internet.

The T Channel will host a Wrap & Media Party on Thursday, December 4 from 5:30pm -11:30pm in the Blue Room at E Street Alley, 919 4th Avenue, near Horton Plaza. The Media is invited to attend for interviews from 5:30pm on with a Main Presentation Event for The T Channel to begin at 7:30pm. with a "surprise guest" big in technology.

The innovative two hours feature vignettes of The T Channel's "digital lifestyle programming", a unique brand of entertainment that brings together all the aspects of living in the age of technology. Produced locally with global power, each program has its own section currently under development at http://www.theTchannel.com.

The T Channel Launches Interactive Cable Network in San Diego - Baja Region

The T Channel envisions programming launch in January on Cox Cable, Southwestern/Time-Warner Cable and Daniels Cable Vision. Discussions are currently underway on putting together the distribution agreements. Initial pre-launch airings may begin on cable as soon as mid-December. The T Channel web site is hosted by American Digital Network and incorporates sponsor advertising, chat rooms and audio and video segments of the programs. On-liners are welcome to visit the pre-launch version of the site now. Upon the cable premier, web-based simulcasting will be provided by Console, Inc. along with selected archived on-demand video and audio.

The T Channel entered into a joint-venture with Intermedia Grupo Creativo in Tijuana for The T Channel - Espaol to produce Spanish-oriented digital lifestyle programming to be distributed throughout Mexico. First programs to be launched in early 1998 include "Playa Telecom" and "Tecnoticias".
