| Roxanne is the show's cute
call-screener and unlike the Wizard and his other helpers, she does
have a life outside the cyberden. In fact, every Monday morning is
spent recounting her weekend escapades, much to the envy of the Guru
crew. In addition to spreading a little sunshine into the poor
pathetic lives of her fellow computer geeks, Roxie screens and
directs the myriads of questions that come in via e-mail, chat room
and telephone. D.G. has to admit that she's a valuable asset because
she's the only one among his apprentices with the ability to do 15
things at once (even though she is a little sarcastic at times...
and she hardly ever laughs at his computer jokes... and she thinks
all technology is overrated - still, she's not bad looking and
besides, if the Wizard banished her to the outer realms of
cyberspace, who'd order the pizza?)
Franci Nakamura is an actress who has appeared on TV, commercials and industrial videos. She loves spending time with her family (husband Alan & sons 4-year old Joshua & 2-year old Caleb). Going to the movies, having fun with friends and surfing the Web are also on the top of her list of favorite things to do. She graduated from UCSD with a degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology with the intent of going to medical school but instead fell in love, got married, had children and got into acting. She says "I guess God had other plans for me. I'm really glad because what I'm doing now is a lot more fun." |
