Overview
The
format for Telecom Beach is similar to
"Entertainment Tonight" with two hosts
introducing a variety of news and
information segments.
The
T Channel has produced a two hour block of
original technology news and digital
lifestyle programming. The T Channel
website features program overviews,
related program information, downloadable
and browser-based visual and audio clips
and live video streaming at selected times
and dates.

The
two hour programming block will highlight
companies and/or projects in the greater
San Diego-Baja California region.
Advertisers may have provided 30 second
commercial in one or more of the programs
airing on cable. This commercial, or other
video production elements have been
repurposed for live webcasting. Banners
with links to the advertiser's website and
video stream are available.
Demographics
The
San Diego-Baja Region is the largest
bi-national zone on earth with a combined
population over 4 million. Over 70% of
households in this region have television
sets with a combined 11% of the population
having home computers with internet
access. San Diego County by itself has the
largest per capita use of home computers
in the world.
Tijuana
is Mexico's second largest city and
largest in Baja, California with a
population of approximately 1.2 million.
San Diego is the sixth largest city in the
United States with a regional population
of 2.8 million. Over the next 10 years,
populations are expected to grow 60% and
30% respectively. As of 1994, San Diego's
population consisted of 62% white, 23%
Latino, 6% African American and 9% Asian
and others.
San
Diego is recognized as fertile ground for
advanced technology industries. The 1995
GNP was over $70 billion USD. Over 50
companies worldwide committed nearly one
billion US dollars to projects in Baja,
California in 1995.

T Channel has gained the support of the
local technology community including
numerous major technology and civic
business organizations, we now refer to as
the "Tribes of Technology."
